The new 2-disc DVD includes a full-length live concert of the band at the Moore Theatre in Seattle, a one-hour documentary about the making of their movie Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny and the (lack of) critical acclaim it received, and bonus features including music videos and the band's appearances on the MTV Awards, Saturday Night Live, and Late Night with Conan O'Brien.

On an amusing side note, Joystiq's Justin McElroy posted a story today that has many of the most loved and and some slightly less than adored kids in the gaming world shown in a gallery with their photos next to their newly created avatars. It's amusing to see how much effort many of the guys and girls put into the creation of their Xbox 360 alter-egos.

I have to say, I'm not sure if I'm turned on or highly disturbed by Justin's photo. I'll let you find that one yourselves.
