I visited this place twice to decide where to shoot. I noticed that there was some limestone and i headed down to have a look but i was not convinced. I then went back to this location during the morning to hunt for snails, they are nice to eat (portuguese thing!). When I finished my hunt I walked towards the bay where the limestone was and I noticed that the tide was quite low. From my calculations, the sunset would be just perfect to shoot. I rushed back to my holiday house in Grange, near Niort, grabbed my equipment and headed back. I was so pleased with this image. The Sun looks amazing and there was no wind. It was so relaxing looking at the Sun just by the horizon. This image made my holiday! 2 second exposure, F/22 at 16mm, B+W polarizer, Lee Filter ND .9.
