World of Goo 2 Developer Level Editor Now Available in Steam Workshop! 29 May 11:35 AM (4 months ago)
We’ve decided to release our in-house editor via Steam Workshop!
We built the editor just for us, and did not originally plan to share it. It’s unpolished, unsupported, and gloriously unbeautiful – but it built all the levels in World of Goo 2 – and now it’s publicly available for brave players to build and share their own levels.
How do you get the level editor? Just update your game and look for a new button on the main screen. It’s available right now on all Win/Mac/Linux platforms.

The editor will also be available on other PC platforms, including: Epic Games, Good Old Games, Humble Store, and our own website.

What if I already own the Amazing World of Goo 2?
Don’t worry! We have a few surprises for you. Fans of the Nintendo Switch, Epic Game Store, or DRM-free version will also get the same enhancements as all the other builds, including:
- Three new extremely difficult challenge levels!
- Over 30 Extra Fabulous Achievements!
- A Brand New Options Menu! Never before included in a 2DBOY or Tomorrow Corporation game!
- Some bug fixes and general improvements!
These changes will be released gradually, but should be rolling out today.

Yes! If you purchased a copy of World of Goo 2 from us, check your download link! There should be a Steam Key lovingly attached especially for you.

We’ve spilled much digital ink talking about the upcoming release of the excellent World of Goo 2 (5/5 stars – would work on it again!), but very little about its excellent Soundtrack. No more!
The World of Goo 2 Official Soundtrack is also coming to Steam on April 25, 2025, and can be purchased separately or as part of a bundle on launch day.
Tomorrow Corporation’s own Kyle Gabler worked with new member of our team Jonny Trengrove (website), and over 50 musicians from the World of Goo community to bring you nearly 2 hours and 47 songs of the beautiful, the haunting, the hilarious, the thrilling, World of Goo 2 Original Soundtrack.
