Can you believe it has been that long???  Ten years have passed by and everyone grew up!


I really must say I do miss it! First released on Jan 20th, 2006 the Disney Channel movie had a record viewing of about 8 million people (of which I was one!!) There was a 10th anniversary reunion with the cast, alas, missing Zac Efron. Enjoy the 31 things you didn't know about High School Musical!!

Vanessa Hudgens Now 22 Years Old in Vegas 23 Dec 2010 8:47 AM (14 years ago)

Where else would you find the High School Musical gang celebrating Vanessa Hudgens birthday? That's right, Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. Hitting the VIP room with friends Brittney Snow and Ashley Tisdale, they celebrated at Pure Nightclub in the hotel. "I've got to have my girlfriends around" she told USMagazine.com.

But her 22nd year is going to be busy. Coming up on March 18th she stars in 'Beastly', a new version of 'Beauty and the Beast'. Then, on March 25th she'll be starring in 'Sucker Punch' - a surrealistic movie about girls locked up in an asylum ready to break out - a total switch for Vanessa!

Right now she is filming 'Journey 2: The Mysterious Island' in Hawaii. Sounds like a pretty good year!

High School Musical 2's Zac Efron keeps breaking out in new movies. His new trailer, Charlie St. Cloud, has just been released! Directed by Burr Steers, he plays the lead character Charlie, who has to make a choice between keeping a promise he made to his dead brother or going after the girl( Amanda Crew) he loves. Charlie St. Cloud is due out in mid October!!

High School Musical 4: Maybe Not - But Sharpay Returns? 17 Apr 2010 7:40 AM (15 years ago)

Could it be that HSM4 is out the door? Didn't we think that Sharpay Evans was history? Think again! Ashley Tisdale is back in her role again as Disney has announced an all-new Disney Channel Original Movie, Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure!

The proposed plot is that Sharpay is discovered by a talent scout and heads for Broadway hoping to be discovered and make it to the big time. But, the competition is much tougher than she planned. Vanessa Hudgens chimed in , "Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure is going to be amazing. Kids love Sharpay and I did love Sharpay, too, her costumes and her clothes and everything. It's so much fun, so I'm really glad she’s doing it."

Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure is scheduled to start filming this summer and premiere on Disney Channel next year. No word yet if Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron or any of the rest of the High School Musical cast will make an appearance.

Corbin Bleu HSM2Zap 2 It recently featured an in depth interview with Corbin Bleu revealing his change from being 16 in the orginal HSM to now being on his own in New York City. Now starring in the CW's Beautiful Life, Corbin is playing the role of a musician and struggling model.

In the interview Corbin noted, "He[my character] was a very successful child model. But when it comes to high fashion, he's struggling with work right now. He's also trying to balance his music career, as well as being a DJ. And then of course, just being a person living in New York, it takes a lot. It takes a lot of money to come to New York. So for him, he's trying to get his cash any way he can and he ends up falling in with this very powerful, prominent woman in the industry, who offers him, you know, help, in return for him helping her out.."

Ashley Tisdale Also one of my favorites in High School Musical 2, Ashley Tisdale was born in West Deal, Monmouth County, New Jersey on July 2, 1985. As of this posting she is 24 years old. Her grandfather was the inventor of Ginsu Knives and she has been in show business since age 3!

The High School Musical 2 stars dressed up as the Sleeping Beauty characters for a romantic new snap shot by celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz.
