The imagery of a blue angel holding white doves evokes feelings of peace, hope, and spirituality. Blue often symbolizes calmness and protection, while white doves are commonly associated with purity, love, and freedom. The combination of these elements could suggest a message of compassion and the uplifting spirit of guidance.

Women's empowerment can be defined to promoting men's sense of self-worth, their ability to determine their own choices, and their right to influence social change for themselves and others. This series is about women’s expressions, reflections, utterance and love, with my my paintings giving them a voice.

Frida The Feminist - Frida Kahlo

I've grown to know Frida's face pretty well, and I enjoy painting her and finding out about her life every time.  For her day, she was unusually independent and outspoken.

She was a heavy drinker and smoker who didn't mind expressing her opinions and living her life how she wanted rather than how society "expected" women to at the time. I find that admirable. For who she was and what she stood for, I admire her. She is an artist who I admire for all she has endured.

Their Kiss - Frida Kahlo  and Diego Rivera Art Print

One of the greatest love affairs of all time.

My inspiration for this painting was from Klimt's The Kiss. The background is gold leaf as well as some details in Frida's dress. Diego wraps them in his brightly colored Serape and embraces Frida with a kiss.

Frida's Garden -  Frida Kahlo Art Print  by k Madison Moore

I encircled Frida in this picture with lovely flowers and hues. Of course, I threw in a favorite of hers and Diego's, the calla lily. Frida's final wish was to be transferred to a room with a better view of her garden when she returned home following her final hospital stay, still very unwell. While she was in bed, she wanted to be able to see her garden. She died not long after that. She adored her garden, spent a lot of time there, and frequently painted in it when she felt inspired.

12 x 12 Acrylic Painting on Heavy 400 lb Archival Acrylic Paper, Varnished. Overall size with included mat 16 x 16. Your frame choice will also add to the size. Will need a beautiful frame. Frame is for display and decorating ideas only and not included.

I have been getting requests for paintings that can be framed with glass so I have created a series of acrylic paintings on very heavy acrylic, archival paper with a slight canvas texture since it is suggested that not to use glass over oil paintings. Oil paintings actually take years to dry even though they feel dry to the touch.

All of my paintings are designed and painted by me and are original works of art. I use quality and archival oils and acrylic paints and only the best quality substrates, canvas, heavy weight archival papers are among the few. All works are signed by me and a Certificate of appraisal is included for insurance purposes.
