Here are a few truths I learned from the hoop world this weekend…
-I have underestimated one Rajon Rondo. I am not a fan of his ability to shoot mid-range jumpers and free throws, but I have come to appreciate his toughness and how he brings value when he is on the floor. With the NBA trade deadline just ten days away (Feb. 24th) there will be rumors and possible scenarios flying around in abundance over the next week and for good reason. With the NBA trade deadline about 2 weeks away (Feb. 24th) you can expect to hear a ton of names thrown around in all types of crazy trade rumors, some more valid than others. It's been a while since we heard anything regarding Washington Redskins estranged DT Albert Haynesworth. He's back in the news today though, but for the wrong reasons. According to this report by The Washington Post's Tom Jackman Haynesworth has been charged with simple assault stemming from a road rage incident with another driver.
