My husband and I will be going out this weekend for our annual Christmas shopping date weekend …"annual" meaning a new tradition we started last year and hope to continue! As you can imagine, shopping for ten children is no small feat. Is one weekend enough? Truth be told, most of my shopping will actually be done online, so the answer is … YES! This weekend is really more about my husband and I getting away with each other for some much needed alone time during what could typically be a very stressful time of year. The weekend will give us time alone to talk (without interruptions), plan and dream about the upcoming year, and of course, take care of some Christmas shopping! I am looking VERY forward to it. :) |

Are you knee-deep in planning for the new school year?
Maybe you’re way ahead of me and already have it finished!
I’ve spent the past couple of weeks getting new forms prepped. I have four in high school this year, two in junior high, and two in elementary grades. Last year, we had our best year of homeschooling yet and that was due in large part to the organization behind our schedule and record-keeping. This year I have tweaked it just a bit more and think we are in for an even better year! Having a plan and method behind the plan really frees us up for individuality and flexibility in our homeschooling and I LOVE that! In the next couple of weeks, I’ll be putting together some more details about the "HOW" behind our record-keeping… as I begin building our teacher and student homeschool planners.

Since putting out the new swirly designs, I have received MANY requests for swirly design calendars and they are now available! I started with June 2012 and went through June 2013. BUT THAT’S NOT ALL! :) We also have a NEW Basic Theme Calendar … great for the man (& boys) in your life! Check out the sampler previews below.
