Autumn Nights Sew Along Finish 16 Sep 12:15 AM (last month)

I can’t believe we’re on the last week of our fun Fall sew-along! This week is the Autumn Nights Sew Along Finish, and I am so in love with how this quilt turned out.

Over the last few weeks, we’ve been sewing together the darling fall blocks in this quilt, and this week we put them all together into this sweet mini quilt. I love this collection of fabrics from Sandy Gervais, the collection is called The Awe of Autumn. It has great all colors with the addition of some aqua prints and it makes a great blend.

I used the Hazy Leaves print as the border to tie in those teal prints with the fall leaf colors. For the binding I used the Orange Plaid from the collection – it matches those orange prints perfectly. I was able to bind it with just a fat quarter of fabric! I used my Dainty Daisy Honey on Cloud for the background.

Fat Quarter Shop is also offering a matching cross stitch along as well – so you can stitch and sew your way into Fall with these sweet designs. You can find the patterns at the link below, along with some fun accessories to complement your projects.

Have fun with this sweet Fall quilt!

Autumn Nights Sew Along Week 3 9 Sep 2:00 AM (last month)

We are sewing up the sweetest strip pumpkin blocks in the Autumn Nights Sew Along Week 3.

We are sewing our way through Fall with this darling sew-along from Fat Quarter Shop. We’ve sewn up little stars and leaf blocks, and this week we are making these fun pumpkins. I love the diagonal stripes!

These cute little pumpkins look tricky, but they are so easy to sew. I love how you can really see the prints in the fabrics too – it’s so great.

I think these would make such a cute runner, too! You could sew up the three pumpkins and put them in a row, and add a little border. I need to make that!

I’m sewing along with the collection, “The Awe of Autumn,” by Sandy Gervais. It’s a gorgeous Fall collection with florals, pumpkins, plaids, and of course, pretty Fall leaves. For the pumpkin blocks, I used a variety of the orange prints in the collection and a little brown print for the stem.

Fat Quarter Shop is also offering a matching cross stitch along as well – so you can stitch and sew your way into Fall with these sweet designs. You can find the patterns at the link below, along with some fun accessories to complement your projects.

Come back next week to see my versions of the Week 3 blocks! This will be perfect timing – when we’re finished with this cute quilt, we’ll be able to hang it right up with our Fall decorations. Yay!

Autumn Nights Sew Along Week 2 2 Sep 12:00 AM (last month)

We are on the Autumn Nights Sew Along Week 2 – this week we are sewing up sweet Leaf Quilt Blocks!

This is the second week in the Autumn Nights sew-along from Fat Quarter Shop. Last week, we sewed cute, wonky stars, and this week, we’re making up these cute leaves. This is going to be such a great mini quilt!

I’m sewing along with the collection, “The Awe of Autumn,” by Sandy Gervais. It’s a gorgeous Fall collection with florals, pumpkins, plaids, and of course, pretty Fall leaves. For the leaf blocks, I used some of the purple prints to add a little more color.

Fat Quarter Shop is also offering a matching cross stitch along as well – so you can stitch and sew your way into Fall with these sweet designs. You can find the patterns at the link below, along with some fun accessories to complement your projects.
