catch her red-handed with another man moments later.
According to reports shared online, the young man said his
girlfriend had informed him that she was going to the market to buy a few

Before she left, he cleverly shared her live location with
himself on WhatsApp without her knowledge.
A few minutes later, he borrowed a different vehicle with

The location led him to a nearby market, but instead of heading towards the stalls, his girlfriend stopped at a quiet corner near some shops.
Moments later, another man arrived, and the two warmly embraced before walking off together hand in hand.
He later drove off quietly without confronting her, saying he preferred to “let her finish her shopping and come home to tell her version of the story.”

Sunday, October 26, 2025 - Award-winning musician and entrepreneur Esther Akoth, popularly known as Akothee, has opened up about her recent health battles, revealing a deeply personal journey that has forced her to slow down and redefine what strength truly means.
In a heartfelt message shared online, the self-proclaimed president of single mothers disclosed that she has been battling severe migraines, blood clots, and uterine fibroids, conditions that have taken a toll on both her body and spirit.
“Life slowed me down,” she wrote.
“I was diagnosed with severe migraines, blood clot, and uterine fibroids. They can’t locate where the blood clot is exactly. The last time they gave me blood thinner medication, I lost consciousness for about three hours. The doctors said it was a case of over-sedation - my body reacted strongly to the medication,” she added.
For years, she said, she believed strength meant pushing through pain, showing up no matter what, and smiling through storms.
But now, she has learned that real strength often lies in rest, reflection and healing.
“These conditions forced me to look at life differently. I can no longer shout, argue, or absorb unnecessary pressure. My peace is now my prescription. My calm is my survival,” she shared.
She went on to explain that she has embraced a slower, more intentional lifestyle - one that prioritizes mental peace and self-love over public perception.
“I’m learning to honour my body, to listen when it whispers instead of waiting for it to scream. I’m cutting off anything that threatens my peace, not out of pride, but out of protection,” she said.
Addressing her fans and critics alike, Akothee made it clear that her silence should not be mistaken for weakness.
She also instructed her family and fans on what to do if she passes away.
“If any of these monsters win or time comes, please bury me in 48 hours. If it finds me abroad, don’t struggle to bring my body back. My children have no energy to attend to guests. If you want to see me, enjoy me now that we can interact. Show me love now. There is no genuine love shown to a dead body if it was never shown while they lived. Death is for the living, so is life.”

Sunday,
October 26, 2025 - Barely days after his burial, the death of
former Prime Minister Raila Odinga continues to stir speculation and public
concern.
The 80-year-old opposition leader and former ODM party chief
died on October 15th, 2025, while undergoing treatment at an
Ayurvedic hospital in Kerala, India.
He had collapsed during a routine morning walk, with doctors
citing a suspected cardiac arrest.
Medical reports revealed that Odinga had been battling
multiple health conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, chronic kidney
disease, and a history of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT).
He had also recently been diagnosed with a subdural hematoma
- bleeding beneath the skull.
However, an alleged toxicology report has intensified
speculation, suggesting that traces of ricin - a highly toxic protein derived
from castor beans - were found in his lungs and vital organs.
Ricin exposure can lead to severe respiratory failure and death within 36 to 72 hours, depending on the dosage and method of exposure.
In response to the growing unease, Saitabao ole Kanchory,
Odinga’s chief agent during the 2022 General Elections, has called for a public
inquest.
“We need a PUBLIC INQUEST to put to rest the questions and
doubts emerging concerning the death of Baba Raila Odinga,” Kanchory tweeted.
He emphasized that such an inquiry would serve the public interest by determining whether foul play was involved.
Odinga was laid to rest on October 18th at his
ancestral home in Kang’o Ka Jaramogi, Siaya County, in accordance with his
wishes.
He was buried beside his father, the late Jaramogi Oginga
Odinga, Kenya’s first Vice President.
As the nation mourns, the call for transparency grows
louder, with many demanding clarity on the circumstances surrounding Raila’s
sudden demise.

Sunday, October 26, 2025 - Mrima Hill, a sacred forest near Kenya’s Indian Ocean coast, has become the focal point of a geopolitical tug-of-war between global superpowers China and the United States.
The 390-acre site is believed to hold vast deposits of rare
earth minerals critical to high-tech and green industries valued at over $62
billion.
Among the minerals deposited there include niobium and other
rare earths essential to high-tech and low-carbon industries.
The scramble has triggered land speculation and investor
interest, with foreign firms already bidding for mining rights.
However, for locals, especially the indigenous Digo
community, the rush threatens displacement and the desecration of sacred
shrines.
So far, locals from at least five villages near the area are
starring at eviction as foreign firms move in.
Farming communities fear losing their land and livelihoods
amid rising foreign pressure.
In 2013, Kenya revoked a mining license over environmental
concerns, prompting a lawsuit alleging corruption.
A 2019 moratorium on new licenses followed, but recent
reforms, including tax breaks and improved transparency, aim to boost mining’s
GDP share from 0.8% to 10% by 2030.
China, the world’s top rare earth producer, has cultivated
ties with Kenya, while the Trump administration has made securing critical
minerals a cornerstone of its Africa strategy, including a peace deal in the
Democratic Republic of Congo.

Sunday, October 26,
2025 - Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has sent a stern warning to President
William Ruto over his 2027 re-election bid.
Speaking on Saturday, October 25th, the outspoken
United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Senator said the President will soon realize
the importance of leaders like him in securing Western Kenya’s support.
“President Ruto, let me tell you, in 2027, things are going
to be difficult for you.”
“That is when you will realize you need Khalwale here in
Kakamega to succeed.”
“That is when you will know you need Seth Panyako in
Malava,” Khalwale stated.
He insisted that his demands for more development projects
in the Western region were not linked to any by-election politics but were
instead a deserved reward for the support the region gave Ruto in 2022.
“We only want appreciation for the votes we gave the
President.”
“Whether we back his candidate or our own, he will still
need us in 2027,” he added.
Khalwale also took aim at Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia
Mudavadi, accusing him of misleading the President about his influence in
Kakamega.
“Mudavadi, who is deceiving you that he has influence here,
should first prove his strength in Vihiga,” he charged.
Khalwale’s remarks come amid a standoff with the UDA Party,
which recently issued him a 14-day ultimatum to explain his open support for a
rival candidate in the Malava by-election.
The party’s Disciplinary Committee accused him of disloyalty
and gross misconduct for backing DAP-K’s Seth Panyako against the UDA nominee.
Khalwale, however, has remained defiant - campaigning
alongside Panyako despite warnings from his party.

Sunday, October 26,
2025 - Amid growing public criticism over proposed toll charges on the
Rironi-Nakuru-Mau Summit Superhighway, the Directorate of Public Private
Partnerships (PPP) has announced exemptions for four categories of vehicles.
In a statement issued Sunday, October 26, the directorate
confirmed that ambulances, police and military vehicles, and local traffic from
communities residing along the 175km corridor will either pay reduced tolls or
be fully exempt.
The move comes in response to public uproar following a
proposal to charge motorists Ksh8 per kilometre.
The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) had earlier
disclosed that the expressway would feature eight toll stations under an open
tolling system, where drivers pay based on distance travelled.
The toll rate was proposed by the consortium of China Road
& Bridge Corporation (CRBC) and the National Social Security Fund (NSSF),
selected as the preferred developers.
According to KeNHA, the Evaluation Committee found the
CRBC-NSSF proposal aligned with PPP Act Cap 430 and government specifications,
including a 1% annual escalation rate on toll fees.
The PPP Directorate emphasized that toll rates will not be
fixed but reviewed periodically in line with economic conditions.
It also clarified that tolling applies to new or
significantly upgraded highways vital to trade and connectivity.
The superhighway will include 15 interchanges, eight
footbridges, 25km of service lanes, eight wildlife crossings, 41 U-turns, 41
underpasses, and 118 bus bays.
Toll proceeds will fund 24-hour patrols, lighting and
paramedic services.
Officials maintain that tolling is essential for road
maintenance and traffic management, and will help reduce vehicle operating
costs while enhancing safety and efficiency.

and seized 1,024 kilograms of methamphetamine with a street value of
approximately 8.2 billion shillings, 630 kilometres East of Mombasa Coast.
The stateless dhow which had been under the watch of
international drug enforcement agencies, had repeatedly evaded prior crackdowns
until its interception by the Kenya Navy.
“The Kenya Navy successfully intercepted a vessel of
interest codenamed IGOR suspected of involvement in narcotics trafficking,” the

trafficking.
The operation was conducted in coordination with the
Regional Coordination Operations Centre (RCOC) in Seychelles, Regional Maritime
Information Fusion Centre (RMIFC) in Madagascar and the Republic of Seychelles
who provided maritime surveillance through Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA).

crew to Mombasa port where it was handed over to the multi-agency team for
further investigations and prosecution of the six suspects.
Court warrants for further inspection and testing have been
