Pip Edwards shows off own brand during Bondi stroll 18 May 2020 12:20 AM (5 years ago)
Pip Edwards was spotted taking a stroll near her Bondi home recently wearing some of the activewear label which she co-founded, P.E Nation.
Edwards is a well-known name in the fashion industry and she has been described as one of the most influential people in the fashion industry in Australia. Being active is certainly not just a selling point for her designs though, the 40-year-old mum is very active herself, boasting a strong slimline figure in her skin tight leggings, something she attributes to regular dedication to Pilates.
Her Instagram is awash with stunning pictures of her incredibly toned body so, as well as being an astute business woman and busy mum, Pip is clearly disciplined when it comes to her fitness.
She had a short-lived romance with cricketer Michael Clarke earlier this year but he reportedly couldn’t handle the publicity that came with the relationship. They were spotted grabbing healthy juices on Pip’s 40th birthday last month but he took off when they realised the cameras were on them.
If you are wanting to turn your health around and start the journey towards a stronger, leaner body, Pilates is a great place to start. If you already have a fitness plan in place, Pilates is a fantastic addition to further strengthen muscles while improving flexibility.
When the government’s lockdown lifts and face-to-face classes restart, an instructor can help you get started with Pilates classes taking place from Burnley to Chorley.

Duchess speaks about lockdown exercise regime 6 May 2020 12:30 AM (5 years ago)
Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall and wife of Prince Charles, shared her exercise regime on a video call interview recently and explained that is includes Pilates and ballet.
While in lockdown, Camilla and her husband marked their 15th wedding anniversary. Like many, they are missing their grandchildren but remain determined to keep supporting their charities.
Adjusting to life in lockdown along with much of the world, Camilla joined in a chat with broadcaster Angela Rippon CBE and Dame Darcey Bussell. The online chat was to mark the occasion of becoming vice-patron of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), which she visited in 2018.
During that visit, the Duchess observed a Silver Swan ballet class for over 55’s and revealed on the call that she has been taking part in their online classes. As well as trying out some ballet, the 72-year-old also enjoys some Pilates and plenty of walking. Speaking about her fitness routine she explained:
“We have all got to keep active because if we don’t we will seize up, we won’t be able to get out of bed. It doesn’t matter if it is 10 minutes or 20 minutes, it just starts off the day. I do a combination of a bit of Silver Swans, a bit of Pilates and a lot of walking, which I love.”
Regardless of your age, Pilates is a great way to stay strong and supple. With classes all over the country from Preston to Rochdale, you will be able to find an instructor and class to suit you as soon as the time is right.

Kimberley Walsh credits Pilates for shrinking waistline 20 Apr 2020 12:32 AM (5 years ago)
Kimberley Walsh, one of the singers from Girls Aloud, has dropped an impressive three stone and toned up, causing fans to comment on her trim waistline.
The singer shot to fame in 2002 as part of reality show ‘Popstars: The Rivals’ and alongside her bandmates has had incredible success in the pop charts over the years. Since then, she treaded the boards in Shrek, modelled and made television appearances.
The 38-year old mum of two has talked about her diet and exercise regime, which has helped her shed weight and tone up since the birth of her youngest son in 2017. She has adopted a healthy eating approach, substituting carbs for vegetables and using portion control to get on top of her calorie intake. On top of that, Walsh has revealed her use of Pilates to shape up. She uses zero gravity Pilates, a low impact form of exercise, to tone up. Walsh told The Sun:
“I’ve been doing zero gravity Pilates which is a tame version, it’s hard strength wise, for me that’s really good, to feel strong, I’ve never been great at cardio.”
Despite her aversion to cardio, Walsh isn’t one to shy away from a challenge. She tackled the daunting Kilimanjaro climb along with fellow celebrities in 2009 to raise money for Comic Relief. Her drive to reclaim her body after childbirth shows that her drive and determination is as strong as ever.
Pilates is a great way to gain strength and slim down without placing too much stress on the joints. With classes from Burnley to Preston, you can be sure to find a class near you when the time is right.

Rebecca Judd keeps up with Pilates workouts despite lockdown 7 Apr 2020 12:59 AM (5 years ago)
Australian TV personality, designer and model Rebecca Judd took to Instagram recently to suggest that people could “go one of two ways” during this pandemic, and she was making the conscious decision to work on fitness rather than succumbing to bad eating and drinking habits.
Like many people, Judd is figuring out how to keep fit and healthy despite being confined to the house during the global COVID-19 lockdown. The mum of four and wife of former AFL star Chris Judd attempted to film her Pilates workout in her home to share with her fans, but like most mums stuck in with the kids, she was repeatedly interrupted. First up was her six-year old daughter followed swiftly by her three-year old twin boys.
With a busy family life to juggle while coping with lockdown isolation, it is no wonder Judd is trying to be disciplined about her daily workouts. During her post she said:
“So we’re all in iso [isolation] and I was having a think about it and it can go one of two ways.
“We either all end up addicted to booze, spicy margaritas. Or we can take this opportunity to get really fit and work on some positives.”
Judd explained that she has been working out a little every day, without doing anything intense.
Pilates is a great way to keep your physical and mental health in top condition. With classes all over Lancashire from Blackburn to Burnley, you’ll be able to find a great instructor and class near you when the time is right.
