Could you provide the full, fixed proftpd.spec file you're using?  With that, I can diff it against the .spec file shipped with proftpd, and make updates as needed.  Thanks!

I am uploading files from a ftp client, and the files are like 551 and not 770 like I would like ... What is wrong ?

The version is proftpd-1.2.8-1. And the scoreboardFile is located in a local filesystem, not NFS.

Which version of proftpd are you running?  Is your ScoreboardFile configured to be on some network-mounted filesystem by any chance?
